WeWork India opened two new flexible workspace centres in Whitefield, Bengaluru and Wakad, Pune, collectively adding about 2.25 lakh sq ft and more than 4,500 desks, Kalkine reported. The Bengaluru centre spans about 1.7 lakh sq ft with over 3,100 desks near the Singayyanapalya metro station.
The company also signed a leave-and-license agreement for about 160,744 sq ft in Pune, adding 2,881 desks at an investment of around ₹44 crore, expected to be operational by July 2027, according to its NSE filing reported by Business Upturn. WeWork India operated 1,33,573 desks at 84.9% utilisation as of 30 June 2026.
Enterprise managed-workspace operator Table Space filed its draft red herring prospectus for an IPO proposing to raise ₹800 crore through a fresh issue plus an offer for sale, Flairius News reported. The filing shows operational revenue above ₹2,200 crore and net losses narrowed by 74% year on year.
A Cushman & Wakefield report covered by The Times of India found Pune among the fastest-growing flex markets, with 20,900 flex seats leased in H1 2026, up 28% year on year, and JLL expects the city's flex footprint to pass 20 million sq ft within a year.
What it means for your business
- Enterprise demand is driving new supply in Bengaluru and Pune, so large teams planning 2027 moves should expect more ready-to-use options but also competition for the best-located floors.
- A listed Table Space would give the managed-office segment more public financial disclosure — useful when comparing operators' stability before signing a multi-year agreement.
